Mustafa Jaane Rehmat Pe Laakon Salam_

The Blessed Fingers of the Prophet

_____♦_____

Alahazrat Imam Ahmad Rida Khan al-Qadiri al-Hanafi (may Allah’s mercy be upon him) says:

مصطفٰی جان رحمت پہ لاکھوں سلام

شمعِ بزمِ  ہدایت پہ لاکھوں سلام

Countless blessings on al-Mustafa, the Essence of Mercy.

Countless salutations on the most resplendent light of Guidance!

نُور کے چشمے لہرائیں دریا بہیں
انگلیوں کی کرامت پہ لاکھوں سلام

Fountains of light cascade and rivers flow out;

Countless blessings on those miraculous fingers!

Notes:

The Prophet was granted innumerable miracles and their scope and profusion is an indication of the greatness of his rank.[1] It is authentically related that when some of the Companions were with the Prophet on a journey, they were short of water. The prophet was brought a utensil containing a little water in which he placed his blessed fingers, invoked the blessing of Allah, and then water came gushing from them until they all quenched their thirst and heard the meals glorifying Allah as well.[2] Other instances included around three hundred Companions performing wudu’ (ablution) from the Prophet having placed his fingers in a utensil and water gushing forth from them.[3]

s.z.c.

Abundant salutations and peace,

On our Beloved, The Chosen One.

Upon his family, Companions and all

Who follow them. Amin.
